Behind Hala

22 things it checks, so you don't have to

You talk to Hala. Behind that, each of these does one job — and every one of them shows its working, so you can see why you were told something.

Finding you a home

5 checks

You describe it in your own words. The search reads the sentence, not a form.

Telling you if the price is right

7 checks

Every figure comes from registered transactions, and says how confident it is.

Checking it is real and legal

5 checks

The checks that decide whether a listing is genuine, before you spend a day on it.

Getting it done

5 checks

The paperwork, the money and the people — the part that usually goes quiet.

What it will not do

  • Invent a number. No valuation, permit number or fee total is produced by the model itself. If a figure is not measured, you get the tool that measures it instead.
  • Guess at a missing score. A blank yield or grade means unknown, not poor — absent is never read as bad.
  • Apply Dubai's rules to seven emirates. Each emirate is answered separately, and where we have not confirmed an answer the page says so.
  • Pretend to be a person. Hala is a system, says so, and hands you to a named RERA-registered agent for the parts that need one.
